Character Silhouettes and References

I knew I wanted to create an humanoid like creature so I drew some different silhouettes to gauge some ideas. I ended up choosing an humanoid version of the Ratatoskr, a mythical squirrel from Norse mythology. This squirrel is a messenger for the Gods so he would have an appearance similar to a newspaper boy. He is also a little mischievous so I tried to incorporate some aspects similar to a thief.
